Eagles' Wings
 Eagles' Wings International Missions
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea…” (Hab. 2:14)

Introduction
At Eagles’ Wings, our desire is to help spread a living reality of worshipIntl-Missions-Logo and prayer all over the world. In Isaiah 56:7, the Lord says, “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations” (NIV). Psalms 2:8 says, “Ask of me and I will give the nations to you as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your possession.” We seek to walk in this spirit of confidence and boldness as we move towards fulfilling the Great Commission (Mt. 28:19-20), seeking to make disciples of all nations, who will not only experience salvation but who will also become strong leaders of influence in the Kingdom of God.

Eagles' Wings in the Nations

To this end, Eagles’ Wings has partnered with many believers around the world for the purpose of expanding the Kingdom of God and building up the body of Christ. Some of theHonduras-3 many nations to which Eagles’ Wings has traveled are Germany, Australia, Czech Republic, South Africa, Latvia, Poland, Brazil, Indonesia and particularly Honduras. Every summer for the last 15 years, Eagles' Wings has led missions trips to Honduras for the purpose of outreach and supplying humanitarian aid to villages and cities throughout the nation. We currently organize one trip per year to Honduras, which begins just after the East Coast Conference in July. We have seen the Lord’s hand move mightily through these trips, and it is always a much anticipated part of our ministry schedule. Through making ourselves available to travel overseas, we have seen the Lord pour out His blessing to the people we have met, as well as greatly increase His presence in the lives of those who have participated in the trips.

Outreach & Mercy Ministry
As we seek to fulfill the Great Commission, we avail ourselves to the poor, the hurting, the unwanted, and the outcasts of society, and to draw them in, so that they can experience the covenant blessings of God. We do this because we believe deep within our hearts that God is good and that His love endures forever, and that this love is available to everyone in all nations. We believe in extending mercy to others—attending to their physical, material, and spiritual needs—as a way of offering them an opportunity to discover a new way of life which the Lord has graciously given us. As our teams travel to these various nations our desire is that the way we live our lives while we are there will make others hungry to know God in a deeper way. We seek to live our lives as ones who will make others hungry for more of the Lord through their interaction with our mission teams.

Covenant relationships
WHonduras-1e believe that by linking together with believers in other nations and coming alongside them in their efforts in the Kingdom of God, we have the opportunity to build committed, long-term relationships with them for God’s glory. Our heart is to inspire the believers in other countries to go further and deeper in their callings and areas of influence, so that they may shine as lights in dark places. Therefore, our mission in other nations is not only to reach the lost, but also to build up and encourage the believers who are already laboring in the harvest fields of specific nations, so that the Lord’s work can multiply exponentially. Our heart is to model a lifestyle of servant hood in all that we do, both within our own mission teams and in the context of committed, covenant relationships with believers in other nations.

Inter-Generational Community of Faith
One very strong value of EW mission teams is to work together as an inter-generational family and community in reaching out to others. We believe in the importance of calling all generations together to bring in the Kingdom of God in the earth. This unity is one of the most powerful characteristics that we as believers can demonstrate in our lives. Over the years, we have seen that as young and old come together in unity, the combining of their divers and important gifts serve to expand God’s Kingdom in extraordinary ways. As we minister in other nations, we believe that our lives are to be a message as we work overseas—and not just a message of salvation, but also of deep intimacy with God, and of a lifestyle of worship and prayer, a way of life that speaks louder than mere words. We believe that this lifestyle is born and modeled in the context of inter-generational community, as the older believers teach the younger ones, and as all learn to work together by sharing their unique God-given strengths.

Strategic Efforts in the Midst of Uncertain Times
We believe that international missions are a God-given strategy to bring abou
Honduras-2t the purposes of God in the earth. However, missions, whether they be a "long-term" or a "short-term" experience, are not an end by themselves, but simply part of the unfolding Kingdom of God. Missions will only be necessary until God’s Kingdom is established in all its fullness and glory throughout the earth. Missions are just part of the continuous, powerful expansion of the Kingdom of God, which requires us to hear the Lord’s specific direction for our assignments overseas. Because of the uncertain times in which we are living, missions takes on a whole new level of urgency and importance. God’s promises stand sure in a world that is quickly speeding towards the fulfillment of all things, both for good and for evil. Our mission is to stand as lights in the darkness—spreading an awareness of God’s purposes in the present time, raising up a standard of truth and righteousness, and spreading among the nations the crucial message of the Lord’s imminent return. He is coming soon!
