Honduras Testimonies
“On the Honduras trip, we experienced Luke 4:18 in action – captives set free, hearts healed, and the gospel preached to the poor. To see the poorest of the poor being truly touched by the power of the Gospel and given real hope for the future was a truly life-changing experience.” -Jay
“It was so amazing to me that, though I had never met these people before, they were more than ready to welcome me into their homes. I was greatly impacted by the generosity and receptiveness of the people in the squatter villages, who extended to us their hands and the little that they owned in order to receive us.” -Jessica
“We were in a small village called Monterrey and a young lady came up for prayer with a wrist brace on. After praying for her and seeing her move her hand freely, we confirmed that the pain in her wrist was gone after being touched by the power of God!” - Benjamin
“The trip to Honduras with Eagles’ Wings was such an amazing experience, and I learned so much from everyone. I cannot express in words how much my life was touched. God taught me a lot about myself and I really grew in my walk with Christ. It was awesome to see how much God worked in the lives of the people of Honduras. It was a blessing to be a part of that work.” - Kim
“Prior to leaving for Honduras, we had a training led by two dynamic leaders from Eagles’ Wings. We got to know each other and developed a team spirit as we spent time together. During that time we learned how to sing Spanish songs, and we learned a variety of dances, dramas, and skits to use in Honduras. We also discussed the Honduras Missions Devotional booklet which was a blessing. If you feel the call to go, I encourage you to do so; your life will never be the same!” - Nancy
“It was amazing how God took 27 people to Honduras (mostly strangers to each other, with very little Spanish-speaking ability) and brought out all kinds of talents in them, and impacted so many other people’s lives. God taught us that He just needs us to be available, and He will make up for what we lack by the power of His Holy Spirit. We also learned we are so much more effective working together as the Body of Christ, and that age is no barrier to service in the Kingdom of God.” - Doug and his son Caleb, age 9
