Each of the prayer meetings at Van nest AOG is different and unique.  Early morning prayer is "soaking" prayer, or "beholding Him" prayer, where we let the worship songs lead the way and everyone prays on their own. Wednesday night prayer is strong intercession for our neighborhood, city, nation, and the world. Tuesday prayer is primarily focused on prayer for the needs in the Body. On the third Saturday of the month many kinds of prayer take place, and on the first Friday night of the month it is strong spiritual warfare.

Jesus has made us kings and priests to the Father. That means that our first calling is to minister to the Lord, which means worship and various kinds of prayer. We believe that if believers will seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness that everything else will be taken care of.

We are involved in praying with other pastors in the Bronx and around the New York City area. We participate in many Concerts of Prayer events throughout the year. We also participate in the Bronx House of Prayer, which is a 12 hour prayer meeting with several churches and ministries in the area.
